Vancouver International Arts & Music Society kindly invites interested parties to an introduction for the 2017 Vancouver International Music Competition (VIMC). The first ever international music competition of its kind in British Columbia promises to be an exciting opportunity for talented young musicians to gain exposure and obtain performance opportunities alongside talented musicians from the province and around the world. The competition will feature three instrumental categories (piano, stringed instruments, and voice) and three age groups (12 and under, 13-17, and 18-35).
Come to our information session to learn more about the competition jury, rules, deadlines, event dates, repertoire selection, venues, teacher, and music school benefits. Also discussed will be prizes and opportunities for career development for talented performers at the VIMC.
