Congratulations to all the finalists for the 2021 Vancouver International Music Competition! The finalists will be receiving the emails of notification soon.
We would like to thank all the applicants for your dedicated hard work. Please understand that we have received many applications this year and difficult decisions have been made. We highly encourage you to keep working on your musical journey! We will email you your comments from the preliminary jury panel and a certificate for participation.

Friendly reminder that the deadline for the FINAL ROUND online registration will be on August 31st, 2021 at 11:59pm PST. Any submission for the final round after the deadline will NOT be accepted.
Finalists may choose to use the same piece(s) as the preliminary round or new piece(s). We encourage you to play a Canadian composition as an option. Please make sure all the repertoire is selected within the time limit according to the competition rules; all the videos recorded are according to the video submission rules and links must be able to be opened. Please be aware that edited videos are unacceptable; both the camera angle and soundtrack must be consistent for the whole piece. No video cuts are allowed between the movements within the same piece. There will be NO change once the application has been submitted.
If there is any violation of the above mentioned rules or if the video link cannot be opened, the candidate will be disqualified automatically without further notice.
The online final round registration will be opened from July 16th, 2021.
